Erik has over 20 years experience in dancing different types of dances. He started in the classic Ballroom and Latin dances and has participated in different Contests. After Ballroom and Latin he has explored and expanded his passion with different other dances like African, Flamenco, Modern Ballet, Street Jazz and Street Dance. The last years he has specialized himself  on Salsa, Merengue, Bachata en Zouk and since recently Kizomba.

He has followed teachers courses from e.g  Mafie Zouker and Claudio Gomes and has followed almost every neozouk workshops and masterclasses van Mafie to control the style and philosophy

To keep developing and to experiment with other styles, and of course out of Enthusiasm, he still followes regularly masterclasses and workshops from the best teachers like Kadu & Larissa, Claudio Gomes, Nyx & Lais, Acrobatics from Leonardo & Layssa, Mzouk from Dani & Leticia and Kizomba from João N. Rocha & Oksana Tkachenko. With these influences he has developed his own style.
